Clariant’s pigments and additives division recently placed the foundation stone for a new plant to produce wax by metallocene catalysis.
Clariant will invest more that k20 million in the new plant which has a planned annual production capacity of several thousand metric tons. Licocene, a new high-performance polymer, is produced with the help of metallocene catalysis. This range of high-performance polymers are suitable for use as dispersion agents in the production of masterbatches, adhesives, sealants and glass.
